More leaks of Mattel goods ala eBay out of china. These shots show a much truer look into what we can expect in the coming months. The head has that production shine, Honestly I think I'm more impressed that this game line actually calls for all this unique tooling where as some of our greatest properties have been issued on the same buck bodies for the last 5 years.
Go Figure... HA!... punny.

NY Toyfair 2013 | Superman Movie Masters Classics
GeekSummit's NYToyFair 2013 Wishlist
So we have finally gotten a glimpse of our Man of Steel Movie Masters and even a tease of Batman '66 series getting the plastic treatment... But what about the Reeve movies?...
What if???...
An entire progressing line covering all 4 yes all 4 Christopher Reeve Superman Movies could be slated for release in the mix of the Man of Steel Mania sure to take hold this next spring. 6" Movie Masters "Classics" would be designed for ALL headliner characters including:
• Marlon Brando as JorEl in black AND a white variant both with various crystal accessories.
• Lex Luthor with Kryptonite chain and a cigar (no word on removable wig status)
• Clark Kent with removable glasses and hat with overcoat over arm accessory.
• Superman authentic designed costume with newspaper dispenser.
What, no Lois?
• There seems to be a teaser in the bottom left corner of an emerging 3-pack of the of the Kalamity from Krypton; Zod, Ursa, & Non.
Could more second tier characters be on the horizon? I would certainly think so being the first 2 movies use all the same characters… Hooray!!! a Two-Fer!!!
With high hopes for an awesome Superman Legacy line from Mattel ala Batman Legacy (not bad) I could only hope with the most sincere delusion that this has crossed the minds of Mattel if not for the 75th anniversary of the man himself then the 35th anniversary of the first movie... Well, I can't make it happen myself but I can throw this blood in the water and hope someone wants this as bad as I do…

Man of Steel | Movie Masters from Mattel
Its finally happened. we've gotten our first looks at the Man of Steel Movie Masters from Mattel. Its been a personally long awaited sight to see how Mattel was going to handle this line. Initially I am pleased. Though I do hope our Superman features some sort of ab crunch mechanism. Until we know for sure... enjoy these images!!!
Visitors to NYCC 2013 can be sure to check these guys out in person as part of the festivities surrounding the release of the movie as well as their anticipated mountains and mountains of merch.
In fact, as it readies to relaunch Superman in theaters this summer, the studio has secured a longer list of licensees around the tentpole than it had for 2006's "Superman Returns." And early demand from retailers for products tied to the June 14 release is on par with that for "The Dark Knight Rises," surprising even executives at the studio, sources close to the deals say.
That demand is a positive sign for WB and DC Entertainment, which have put considerable coin behind "Man of Steel" and hope the pic can launch a new Superman franchise and generate interest in "Justice League," which would feature the character alongside Batman, Wonder Woman and the Flash. "Justice League" is being developed for 2015.
Superman has long been a popular character for Warner Bros. Consumer Products. But because his powers -- the ability to fly, his heat vision and super strength -- are hard to translate in action figure form, sales were mostly driven by apparel featuring the character's signature "S" shield.
"Man of Steel" won't dramatically change that, but through its long-standing relationship with Mattel, Warner Bros. believes it's been able to expand on the kinds of products it can offer this time around. For example, Mattel will introduce "Man of Steel QuickShots," which will build elements of flight and strength into its toy line that will include action and collectible figures, vehicles and playsets.
Mattel's planned lineup of products, which WB will promote at the various toy fair conventions kicking off today in Nuremberg, Germany, and bring to the New York Toy Fair next month, is said to have sparked interest from buyers for stores akin to that of Batman fare, execs at retailers confirm to Variety. But so has the more action-oriented approach helmer Zack Snyder and producer Chris Nolan have taken in the rebooting the film franchise for DC and WB.
"Superman will always be a pop culture icon, and the upcoming summer action adventure will continue to fuel excitement for this fan-favorite superhero across the globe," said Brad Globe, president of Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
Mattel's toys are one of more than 300 product licenses WBCP has brokered for "Man of Steel," covering toys, apparel, accessories and back-to-school categories.
Other partners include Lego, whose construction sets are inspired by scenes from the film; Rubie's Costume Co.; Thinkway Toys; RC vehicles; collectible figures from Sideshow Collectibles, Kotobukiya, SquareEnix, Neca and Jakks Pacific; props from Noble Collection; and puzzles from Cardinal Industries, along with Funko, which will produce vinyl figures through its Pop! line.
At the toy fairs, WBCP will also promote products for other DC properties such as the classic Batman TV series from the 1960s; the "Batman: Arkham Asylum," "Arkham City" and "Injustice: Gods Among Us" videogames; "The Hobbit" trilogy; and TV shows "The Big Bang Theory," "The Vampire Diaries," "Scooby-Doo" and "Looney Tunes."

Like last summer's Batman film The Dark Knight Rises featured everyone from the Dark Knight to Catwoman to the villainous Bane, Mattel is releasing a Movie Masters line ($14.99, arriving in June) featuring Zod, Supes, JorEl and detailed versions of the movie's main characters that look just like Shannon, Cavill and the rest. Plus, Mattel's also putting out Man of Steel QuickShots, a new wave of figures harnessing two of Superman's best traits: flight and strength.
Superman doesn't drive an iconic car or sport a belt laden with gadgets, so when it comes to designing merchandise, toymakers haven't had much to play with.
That hasn't dissuaded companies from partnering with Warner Bros. for "Man of Steel," however. In fact, as it readies to relaunch Superman in theaters this summer, the studio has secured a longer list of licensees around the tentpole than it had for 2006's "Superman Returns." Superman Lives - Nicolas Cage as Superman
For years images have been popping up of different conceptual work and unique costume designs that would have been intended for a theatrical release of "Superman Lives" back in 1999. We can call it all conceptual since it never manifested. We have seen neon suits, plastic bubble musculature suits, wicked sculpting and some simply strange images of Nicolas Cage in a suit that looked like it was made solely out of puff paint... scary.
Just recently a new image of Cage in a more traditional yet Burtonesque rubberized suit has surfaced. Original images were in a super low quality archive sepia but I recolored these versions.

John Schnepp is a director on Adult Swim’s Metalocalypse and Venture Bros., provided the W is for WTF segment for ABCs of Death and worked with Upright Citizens Brigade in making their TV pilot. I don’t suppose there’s anything that could seem out of place in such a varied resume, but his next project – Kickstarter willing – is certainly newsworthy.
Here’s Schnepp pitching a documentary on Superman Lives, the Tim Burton-directed, Kevin Smith co-scripted, Nicolas Cage-starring Superman movie that never quite was.
There’s a lot of promise there. In fact, there are a few promises in particular that I think Schnepp might find it hard to deliver on. He’s telling us flat out who he’ll interview but there’s no indication that any of these folk will want to be interviewed.
What’s more, I think Schnepp’s attitude that this film is just “weird” won’t do him any favours with some of those interview subjects either.
Still, I’d like to see an actual film about this near-film. Not as much as I would have liked to see the film itself, but still.
You can support Schnepp with a donation to his Kickstarter. For $1000 you can even buy your way into the documentary and get this platform to voice your take on Superman Lives.

UPDATES: Man of Steel Toys Leaked | Zod Revealed!!!
Well, it's happened again. More leaks from a show in France and a new premature Ebay auction show a few more figures we can expect to see in the coming months.
We have some additional perspective on the 5" figures. We'll be sure to see an array of Superman variants showcasing different super powers ala Superman Returns as well as a few deco variants and accessory heavy compositions. Here we have Moto Assault Superman... the foes can only get get bigger from here.
These packaging shots do seem to lean the previously thought 5" figures to more of a 3.75" presence though such as Marvel Universe... but we'll see!!!
First shot of Zod's Emblem... different...
And those Flight Speeders and Exploders contraptions
And of course Superman would be nothing without his handy Speed Cruiser... 'derp!!
Sales sheet showing kid aimed items selling for Euro $10.00 that should translate to $15 US?
This is a generic mockup using DC artwork but plan to see a big presence on your Wal-Mart/Target endcaps starting in May!!!
Also we see more auction items hitting the Ebay of course. Always California... never Memphis... oh well.
